Terms of Service

These terms govern use of the Omic Pathways website and learning platform. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. Last updated April 22, 2026.

Educational use, not medical advice

Content on Omic Pathways is educational. It is written by licensed clinicians and scientists for use by other licensed professionals in their own clinical reasoning. Nothing here is medical advice for any specific patient. You are responsible for the care you provide.

Who may use the platform

Omic Pathways is intended for licensed clinicians, clinical scientists, trainees, and other professionals with a legitimate educational interest in regenerative medicine. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it current.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity on your account. Share neither your credentials nor your session cookies. If you suspect your account has been used without your authorization, contact us immediately. We may suspend or terminate an account at any time for a material violation of these terms.

Acceptable use

Do not redistribute course material outside the platform without written permission. Do not attempt to probe, scan, or disrupt the service. Do not use the platform to harass or harm any person. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Intellectual property

Course materials, the curriculum structure, faculty essays, and the site design are the property of Omic Pathways and its contributing authors. You may quote short excerpts for educational purposes with proper attribution.

Fees and paid features

Member access is free today. Paid features (cohorts, clinic access) are in development. If and when a paid feature is offered, its pricing, billing terms, and refund policy will be presented at the point of enrollment and will become part of these terms for that purchase.

Third-party services

The platform integrates third-party services (for example, the Frappe learning backend, transactional email, and payment processing when live). Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their conduct beyond the scope of our integration.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Omic Pathways is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred US dollars.

Termination

You may close your account at any time by writing to us. We may suspend or terminate an account for a material violation of these terms, for a lawful request by a regulator, or if continued operation would create a safety or legal risk. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limits of liability, governing law) do survive.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If the change is material we will post the new version here and notify registered members by email before it takes effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Your continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
